Description

The North by Honeywell BP1002 backpack adaptor is designed for use with the 5400, 5500, 7600, and 7700 and RU8500 respirators. It converts these to welding respirators with ease. Cartridges are located on the back, away from the contaminated area which means that the attachment lasts longer. A lightweight design means that it does not add extra weight to the facepiece. Weight is distributed across the shoulders, allowing for a comfortable fit and preventing worker fatigue.

A very helpful product!

This is another very useful attachment you can get for your North brand respirator. It enables you to place the cartridges on your back and farther from what you are doing. It is particularly helpful when I am welding as the sparks, smolders and smokes are not directly pointed at my breathing apparatus.

It is so lightweight you won't even feel it on your back. In fact, it even transfers the weight of the cartridges from your facepiece to your shoulders.
