Description
Keep workers safe at altitude with the 8814-12/ stainless steel/aluminum adjustable beam anchor. This quality-made system is designed to connect and lock around the flanges of either I or W steel beams. The beauty of this design is that the entire unit can slide along the beam as needed without having to detach and reattach anchor points. This minimizes potentially dangerous situations. An adjustable sliding arm made from stainless steel lets the user set the aluminum foot ends in position before locking them in place with the hand-operated plunger. The drop-forged stainless steel D-ring provides a secure and super-strong anchor point to connect harness lines and lanyards. This particular model fits flange widths ranging from 4" to 12" and will wrap over flange thicknesses up to 1-1/4". The system has passed the rigorous ASTM 50-hour salt spray tests with flying colors and comes fitted with a set of note labels that show inspection, type, model, date, warnings, and certifications.
