Description

When it comes to rescue and retrieval systems, you can count on the DBI Sala Advanced™ aluminum tripod with Salalift™ II winch 8300030 for reliable performance. Special safety shoes and a leg support chain prevent slipping while the system is in use, even on uneven surfaces. The tripod is constructed of durable aluminum paired with an abrasion-resistant galvanized steel rope that ensures the longevity of the system, even when exposed to the elements. A manual winch is easily operated by hand to raise or lower workers or materials.

Well-designed tripod and winch

Positioning the legs is great since it has a good range of mobility. It also can comes with a winch which I really appreciate so I don't have to find the right model or type for this tripod.

Great construction

I was a bit worried about the material used but once I got the winch I was quite happy with the construction. It has a lot of great stability and it provides excellent security. The quick-connect winch is also really easy to use which is a big bonus. It's also quite lightweight which I appreciate a lot.

This tripod is really easy to set up with very minimal effort. I was able to start working in a matter of minutes. I'm also a fan of the added chains on the legs, it helps root it and keep it stable.
