I disassemble my North 7700-series half mask respirator after every use and hand-wash the individual components. No matter how careful I am the inhalation valves will eventually tear during reassembly. They also get lost easily.



Fortunately, Honeywell makes replacement valves and Gorvex.com sells them at a reasonable price. This allows me to keep my respirator in service long-term. Even though I have been able to fix torn valves with electrical tape I much prefer replacement with new parts.

Just like your faucet needs a gasket to prevent leakage, your respirator needs valve flaps and seals. I'm glad that this inhalation valve doesn't cost much.

My respirator works like new again after I replaced the worn-out valve. Very helpful kit.
