Description
Miller puts safety first by using the latest in technological developments. The space age 8816-14/ ShadowLite aluminum adjustable beam anchor may be lightweight at just 4.28 lbs, but it has a massive 400 lbs working load. Easy to haul up ladders and install onto a wide range of I profile beams, this particular unit can be installed on either the top or base of a beam with an adjustable sliding arm that suits flange widths from 3" to 14". The bronze foot ends can be fit to flange thicknesses up to 1-1/4". The Shadowlite range allows the user to slide the unit into position for maximum mobility with maximum fall protection, taking the danger out of speedy work. An integral aluminum loop provides a strong anchor to attach harness lines. In typical Miller fashion, this unit has gone through rigorous testing and has passed the ASTM 50-hour salt spray tests with flying colors. Note labels act as an extra safety feature, communicating vital information such as inspection, type, model, date, warnings, and certifications for staying on top of maintenance.
