Description

Secondary injuries related to fall arrest can be negated using the MIL-913B BackBiter™ tie-back lanyard from Miller. This 6-foot, single-leg lanyard is fitted with the nifty SofStop shock absorption system, providing a cushioned landing when involved in a fall. The woven inner core expands easily when engaged and is further strengthened by a 1-3/8" chemical and abrasion-resistant polyester outer sheath. The 6'line connects to a range of full body harnesses with a forged steel locking snap hook while the anchor end is fitted with a Miller's super tough 5K locking snap hook. The line is available in either green or blue and is rated at 310 lbs working load, while the locking snaps have an impressive tensile strength of 5,000 lbs.

Suits my needs

Based on the specifications, this lanyard seemed to suit my needs. After using it for about a week, I can say that it's exceeded my expectations. The shock absorber is definitely a great feature. It works on my harness really well. I also appreciate that it's abrasion-resistant.

Really great tie-back lanyard. Length and material of the webbing are great and the hooks attach really nicely.

Works nicely with the Aircore. Very secure.

This doesn't really have any bearing on the product, but I like having everything in a matching color. I use this with the Miller Aircore and it looks really nice with it. I use the two more for climbing and painting and they're great! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.
