Description

When used in tandem with a 1 ½" friction bolt, the 494/ Grip FBA connector from Miller by Honeywell creates an extremely strong anchor point that is reusable yet simple to install and remove. A spring action operated mechanism removes the lateral forces applied to the friction bolt during installation and release but once set in place, the unit will remain firmly locked. The 494/ connector is made from a number of hard wearing, non-corrosive materials like stainless steel and aluminum with a galvanized thimble at its loop. These measures help to further extend the connectors lifespan in damp and humid work environments such as mine shafts, road tunnels and underground caverns.
